Shore Beats Work is your perfect oceanside beach house! Perfectly located in the heart of Avon, you are less than 130 yards to beach access, yet convenient to the Avon pier, shopping, and dining —this 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath house is perfect for the entire family. The fun does not stop after a day in the sun! Listen to the waves crash from the expansive open decks or take in the spectacular Hatteras Island night sky from the top deck as you soak in the bubbling hot tub.

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include, an outdoor shower, fish cleaning table, plenty of parking space, community tennis court access, and community pool access (open Memorial Day to the last Saturday in September).

First Level: As you enter the home, you will find 4 cozy bedrooms, each with Smart TVs. Bedroom #1 is a well-sized King bedroom with a private full bath with direct covered deck access. Bedroom #2 is a Queen bedroom with a spacious ensuite full bath with direct covered deck access. Bedroom #3 is furnished with a Queen bed, and Bedroom #4 is furnished with a bunk bed and a twin bed with a trundle. Bedrooms #3 and #4 share the hall bath. The laundry area is located on this level.

Mid-Level: A sun-filled open great room welcomes you with comfortable seating, dining for 8 with extra seating nearby, and a breakfast bar that seats 4. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook your favorite meal or today’s fresh catch. Access to the large sun deck with an 8-person hot tub, great for after-dinner relaxing. A half bath is located off the living area.

Top Level: Queen bedroom with an ensuite full bath and a private balcony with ocean and sound views.

Extras: Hot Tub, Community Pool and Tennis Courts, 6 TVs, DVD player, WiFi, Keurig, grill, board games, outdoor shower, deck furniture, fish cleaning table, and a pack-n-play. No Smoking/Vaping. No Pets. Distance to beach access: 390 feet. Beds: 1 King, 3 Queen, 1 Set of Twin Bunk Beds, 2 Twins  Key Type: Keyless Entry. Check-in Location: At the property.

You will have access to Kinnakeet Shores Resort amenities. Kinnakeet Shores is the largest planned community on Hatteras Island. This resort-style community boasts an impressive array of amenities including 69 acres of freshwater lakes, an outdoor Olympic-sized pool with extensive sun decks, and two Har-Tru tennis courts. Shore Beats Work has exclusive access to the Kinnakeet Community Pool and Tennis Courts located in Avon. Kinnakeet Shores Community Pool is open from Memorial Day to the last Saturday in September.

Linens and towels are provided all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep sofas, top bunks, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. After booking, you will receive an email to sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment electronically. You will have 3 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance deposit to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

nice house good location. the dune hill was a bit of a hike but that's to be expected.privet bedroom was nice. the couches could be a little more conferrable. and although the house was clean the paint needs to be updated Maby go with a semigloss so it doesn't show every mark.

Our family had a terrific time! The house was fantastic and very clean. Great supply of games and puzzles!! Numerous restaurants near by as well as a Food Lion. Short walk to the ocean.

My family really enjoyed their stay here. The living space is open and perfect for a large family. I especially love the top bedroom as an option for parents or older couple to escape from the noise of the lower levels. House was clean and perfect!

'Shore Beats Work' Getaway

As an extended family, 12 family members spent the week at 'Shore Beats Work'. The location to walk to the beach and ocean was perfect. With only two couches, we wished there was more comfortable seating in the living room for all of us. The top penthouse bedroom was perfect with the private deck - as we spent mornings watching the sunrise with coffee. We highly recommend this property!

This was our second time visiting! Our girls specifically chose it for the proximity to beach and ability to be close enough to family, yet have their own space. If you get the chance we highly recommend!!!

Had the most amazing stay here!!! We drove up and down the entirety of the OBX and came to the conclusion that Avon, and specifically this house, was by far the best location. Quiet area with enough businesses within a short walk or bike ride (bikes rented through Shore Details were dropped off at the house for us, SO convenient!). The most beautiful beach was just down the road. The house is HUGE! We loved it so much. It had EVERYTHING you need in the kitchen, fantastic hot tub, cute hammocks on the porch, enough deck area in and out of the sun throughout the day. It’s the best house on the block and it’s fully stocked with anything could possibly need at a beach house. Would absolutely love to come back here. 10/10 would recommend!

Great size house! We had 4 adults, 3 teens and two kiddos under 6! It was a great fit. 2 minute walk to the beach! I’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb’s but this one by far had every kitchen appliance you could think of! Sometimes 2 of them!

Our whole family - parents, four grown children and their spouses and fiancé - spent a lovely week at the beach. Plenty of room for us all to spread out. Coffee shops, a gym and gift shops in walking/biking distance. Short walk to the beach. We had a lovely time.

Shop at one of the many gift shops, take a walk on the famous Avon Fishing Pier, rent bicycles and explore the village, or rent a Jeep and ride out on the beach and hunt for seashells. With lots of popular attractions, you're sure to remain entertained throughout your stay.
